Not so much poignancy, but a Celebration of the co-founder of TAOLB , her art and her life. Rae Louise Hayward was not only a  mentor to artists, but an artist herself! Oasis Gallery's venue exemplifies the true spirit of TAOLB's vision of showcasing African American artists whose careers span from veteran,to first time exhibitors. Please join veteran artists Nannette Harris(oil paintings) ,  and myself  Karin Turner -  (acrylic paintings) for a look at what's new in their world of Blue people and H2oMelons!

Award winning recipients Latisha Baker (pyrographer), Stephen Bruce (acid paintings), Renata Gray(ceramicist), Mr. TheArthur Wright(bleach paintings),Tracy Ricks (mirror paintings), & Kelvin Curry(chalk pastel) are examples of just how diverse Black American art truly is.  Jimi Evins'(paintings) and Virginia (NIA) Jourdan's (acrylic paintings) are so colorful and diverse it's hard to believe they work with the same mediums!  Wow!

OASIS Gallery is also proud to premier new 1st time exhibiting artist Ashlei Williams (painter), who shows a love for color, (and a bravery for going
